Peter Dobie joined as Underwriting Manager in July 2003. 
With over 25 years experience in the insurance industry, predominantly within Legal Expenses, Peter worked for Royal Sun Alliance, DAS and most recently for Wren Insurance Services (Brit). Peter’s primary role is to lead and develop
the underwriting team and to further enhance the presence of Allianz Legal Protection as a leading company in the Legal Protection Insurance market.

David Vine joined as Business Development Manager on the
30th June 2003. David has overall responsibility for Business Development within ALP. David joined ALP having spent the past six years with the Allianz Commercial branch in Bristol as the Development Manager for the South West and Wales.

Steve joined ALP as BTE Buisness Development Manager on the 6th July 2009, following a position as New Business Manager in Retail Corprate Partners. Steve has worked for Allianz Insurance plc in sales and distribution for over 10 years, and prior to this worked for AA Insurance Services. Steve is responsible for leading the business development team in growing the company’s Before-the-Event (BTE) legal expenses business.

James Barclay joined as Claims Manager in April 2010. James was recruited by Allianz UK in 2002 and has worked in a number of areas of the business, with the vast majority of his time being spent in the claims arena. James' primary responsibility is to lead and manage the Legal Protection Claims teams and work with the other members of the Management Team to ensure Allianz Legal Protection is the provider of choice in the Legal Expenses Market.
