Allianz Legal Protection’s Conditional Fee Insurance Scheme, was introduced to address the changes brought about by the Access to Justice Act 1999.  It ensures that if you have a personal injury you are able to pursue your claim as the government intended, with no up front costs at all, and with no liability should your claim be unsuccessful.

Equity Product Details

The Cover

We will pay up to £100,000 for unrecovered disbursements (apart from own barrister’s fees), and other side’s costs.  Equity covers personal injury claims only – there is no cover for clinical negligence, DVT or stress at work.

Premiums

There is no up front premium payable under our scheme.  The premium is payable at the conclusion of the claim. We will waive the premium if the claim is unsuccessful or has to be abandoned provided that you have kept to all the terms and conditions of the policy.  The amount of premium payable will depend on your case, the solicitor would be able to advise you.
